Physical Therapist Assistant

Provide therapy services established by the Physical Therapist under supervision, consulting on treatment changes and communicating with patients, families, and physicians. Appropriately document daily notes, assist in creating progress reports, and submit billing and payroll documentation. Ensure equipment is in good working order, maintain a clean environment, and follow facility policies for patient safety. Participate in care planning meetings, family training, and required in-services while attending continuing education to update clinical skills. Maintain valid licensure and CPR certification. Requires an Associate of Arts in Physical Therapy Assistant, state licensure, and one year of experience, with a preference for residential or skilled nursing facility background.
