Job Summary
Administer treatment plans and deliver physical therapy techniques while maintaining patient dignity and rapport. Provide accurate daily documentation for clinical and billing purposes, including progress updates, equipment logs, and physician communications. Consult with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to clarify diagnoses, modify treatment plans, or coordinate discharges. Supervise Rehabilitation Techs as requested and assist in department improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must demonstrate appropriate and applicable fine motor skills
- Must demonstrate adequate visual acuity for safety with patient interaction
- Physical Therapy Assistants must possess an appropriate Associate of Science degree from an accredited institution
- Physical Therapy Assistants must be licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Physical Therapy
- provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check
