Job Summary
Implement therapy plans of care for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas under the direct supervision of a licensed PT. Delegate and direct supportive personnel to enhance patient care services while communicating regularly with the supervising PT to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan modifications. Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and self on relevant topics and perform other professional duties within the scope of practice. Requires current state licensure or eligibility, BLS certification, and potential full-time advancement opportunities after demonstrating skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment
