Job Summary
Conduct patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, implementing high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with State Practice Act mandates and Select Medical policies. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients while enhancing client relations with center staff. Manage diverse patient mix covering orthopedic, sports medicine, and vestibular/post-concussion cases within a growing outpatient clinic environment.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
