Job Summary
Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, adhering to state practice acts and Select Medical policies. Manage a full caseload of 11–12 patients daily across outpatient orthopedic specialties including ACL, concussion, dry needling, and sports medicine, while maintaining positive interactions with centers and staff. Treat patients two evenings until 7:30 PM as part of a full-time 40-hour schedule within NovaCare's outpatient center in Annapolis, Maryland, supported by a structured mentorship program for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
