Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services under supervision in a skilled nursing facility, assisting licensed therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans. Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals while educating patients and families on exercise techniques and safety precautions. Provide group and concurrent therapy as scheduled with flexible weekday and weekend hours available. Maintain current New Mexico licensure and hold an associate's degree from an accredited program.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Must have a PTA license in New Mexico or be eligible for one
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be flexible throughout the day for changes that occur
- Weekday and Weekend hours available
- Schedule is flexible and negotiable
