Physical Therapist Assistant in Salem, VA to join outpatient sports medicine/orthopedics team. Responsibilities include executing individualized treatment plans with the physical therapist, delivering hands-on therapy, prescribing therapeutic exercises to restore function, educating patients on injury prevention and recovery strategies, collaborating with physicians and the care team, maintaining compliant documentation, and staying current with best practices in sports rehab. Requires an Associate degree (PTA) and active Virginia PTA license; 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine preferred with strong communication and teamwork skills. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a competitive hourly salary ($28–$32) and benefits.
