Job Summary
Deliver physical therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist across multiple settings (outpatient, home, assisted living, and long-term care). Train families and caregivers, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on treatment plans and participant status, monitor therapy schedules and orders, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and assist in coordinating care. Requires PTA program graduate and Colorado PTA licensure. Prefer at least one year of geriatric PT experience. Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office; strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program is required
- PTA Licensure in the State of Colorado is required
- One year of general physical therapy assistant experience in a geriatric setting is preferred
