Job Summary
Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, including executing the treatment plan, preparing clinical notes and progress reports, educating patients and families, and participating in in-service programs. Duties include instructing and motivating patients, coordinating with the PT and staff to plan and modify treatments, observing and evaluating patient responses, measuring range-of-joint motion and vital signs, fitting and training patients in orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, and ensuring patients follow exercise directions accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas
- Graduated from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Two (2) years of applicable experience
