Job Summary
Assist Physical Therapists to provide physical therapy treatments and procedures, including developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, documenting progress, and modifying specific treatments per patient status. Maintain a core member role on the rehabilitation team while ensuring all activities comply with state laws and established scope of practice. Hold a current Vermont Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Work full-time, 80 hours, in Springfield.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Vermont in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Physical Therapy evaluation, reassessment and treatment techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
