Job Summary
Instruct and aid patients in active/passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional transfers while following the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse, or physician. Complete daily notes for each visit and participate in developing treatment plans as needed. Assist with procedures, tests, and complex treatments to ensure safe and effective evaluation. Split time between Harmony House and Regency Omak facilities in Brewster, WA, adhering to state-specific laws and therapy standards.
Required Qualifications
- degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution
- current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in assigned State
- ability to take direction from registered therapists and other team members
- ability to work independently with periodic (daily or less) support and direction
