Job Summary
Assess residents' occupational therapy needs and match them with available services. Meet regularly with residents according to the treatment program schedule to evaluate and maintain progress records. Report progress to management and family members on a regular basis to discuss program details and degree of advancement. Repeat evaluations periodically to measure progress according to professional guidelines. Maintain current professional skills by reviewing literature and attending seminars. Requires hearing ability sufficient to evaluate needs and strong verbal and written communication skills with residents and families.
