Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work collaboratively with experienced physical therapists in providing comprehensive orthopedic care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility; applying physical modalities (heat, cold therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, etc.); documenting patient progress in electronic health records; assisting with pain management and mobility after injuries or surgeries; supervising aquatic therapy program and pool safety; performing intake assessments, vital signs, and ROM measurements under supervision; educating patients on body mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention; maintaining a safe treatment environment and infection-control standards; assisting with transfers and mobility aids; communicating with supervising PT about patient progress and treatment modifications; supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling and equipment inventory; maintaining HIPAA compliance; and contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture. New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Current state licensure
  • CPR certification
