Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) needed for Full-Time role at The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Responsibilities include carrying out best practice treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, delivering treatments per goals set by the PT, and documenting patient progress weekly. Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care; maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. New graduates are welcome. Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program and hold a valid NY license/registration. Experience in long-term care and geriatric settings preferred. Sign-on bonus of $5,000. Located at 61 Grasslands Rd, Valhalla, NY 10595. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university
- Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of NY
- Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to
- Well versed with documentation writing
- Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights
