Job Summary
Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation. Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies for continued progress at home. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care and assist in evaluating patient needs. Requires current state PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a degree from an accredited program. Full-time role with weekly pay, health benefits, and student loan repayment available.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid state PTA licensure or certification
- Current valid CPR certification
- Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
- 0-1 years experience
