Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Provide skilled physical therapy services in patient homes under a Physical Therapist's direction, including assessments, interventions, and diagnostic testing. Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety measures, and proper equipment use such as wheelchairs and walkers. Document all aspects of treatment, assessments, and patient education within 24 hours of visits, completing chart audits as requested. Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and coworkers to coordinate care and participate in case conferences. Drive to assigned visit locations and attend mandatory trainings and on-call requirements.
