Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines. Assist with identifying appropriate patients, scheduling caseloads, and covering other therapists' patients during absences. Document daily participation, progress notes, and billing for services rendered while ensuring MD orders are obtained. Attend facility and rehab meetings, act as a rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team, and supervise junior staff or students as needed. Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, patients, and families while complying with all safety policies, confidentiality regulations, and facility procedures.
