Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines. Assist with identifying appropriate patients, scheduling caseloads, and covering other therapists' patients during absences. Document daily participation and progress on notes, obtain co-signatures, ensure medical orders are obtained, and complete billing ethically and accurately. Act as a rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team, supervise junior staff or students, and participate in facility and rehab meetings. Comply with all facility policies, safety procedures, patient confidentiality, and productivity requirements while maintaining professional relationships with patients, families, and co-workers.
