Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Per diem Physical Therapist Assistant at Southbridge Rehab, supporting a general rehab caseload under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Provide direct resident treatments per established plan of care, participate in clinical program development, document activities in the clinical documentation system, and collaborate with the Rehab Program Manager and care teams. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering individual, supervised, and group treatments; training patients, residents, and caregivers; monitoring workflow with supervisors; and ensuring compliance with Medicare and reimbursement regulations. Requires ability to perform documentation, equipment manipulation, and direct patient care, with strong attention, time-management, and communication skills; involves interaction with diverse patient populations and clinical staff.
