Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Skilled Nursing Facility

Deliver physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and independence. Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, caregivers, and families. Participate in care planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and discharge planning, and provide education to patients, families, and facility staff. Complete timely electronic documentation, treatment notes, and daily billing activities while maintaining productivity and documentation standards. Assist with restorative and functional maintenance programs within the Skilled Nursing Facility setting under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
