Job Summary
Implement treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists to improve patients' physical function and mobility. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and modalities while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes in electronic systems. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques for continued home care. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment by adhering to clinic protocols and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Provide feedback to supervising therapists for treatment adjustments. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current and valid Florida PTA license
- 1+ year of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in following treatment plans and providing feedback to supervising therapists
- Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
