Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Avamere Rehabilitation of Shoreline as part of an in-house therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA implements and executes established patient treatment plans, communicates with patients and families, documents per facility requirements, supports department operations, and participates in ongoing professional development. The role emphasizes teamwork across departments, adherence to regulatory and reimbursement requirements, and ongoing mentorship/training opportunities, with flexible shift options and a focus on helping residents regain strength and mobility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum
- Able to practice unencumbered
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Full knowledge of resident’s rights
- Exudes professionalism in presentation
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- CPR/BLS certification
