Job Summary
Part-time/PTA to provide PRN coverage under a licensed Physical Therapist; implements and executes on established patient treatment plans, communicates with patients/families/referring physicians, and documents per facility requirements. Supports and participates in department operations, contributes to ongoing professional development, and ensures regulatory/compliance documentation for insurance reimbursement. Requires completion of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum, CPR/BLS certification, English proficiency, and ability to multitask in a clinical setting. Experience with Medicare and payer sources and commitment to resident rights and professional standards are valued. Flexible scheduling options and employer-provided benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum
- Able to practice unencumbered
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Full knowledge of resident’s rights
- Exudes professionalism in presentation
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- CPR/BLS certification
