Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines. Identify appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements. Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant license in state of practice
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
