Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN position across multiple Southeast TX locations (Bonne Vie - Port Arthur, Magnolia Manor - Groves, Oakwood Manor - Vidor, Mill Creek - Silsbee). Treat patients under the direction of the supervising physical therapist; record treatments in the medical record; participate in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings; communicate patient progress and plans with the supervising therapist, rehab director, and interdisciplinary team; participate in facility in-service training; ensure daily treatments and labor are documented per corporate procedures and state Physical Therapy rules. Qualified candidates will have an accredited PTA program graduate credential, current state license, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
- Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
