Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN position in Port Arthur, TX at Pivot Rehabilitation’s Bonne Vie location. Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist, records treatments in the medical record, participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings, and communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director, and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans. Participates in facility in-service training programs and ensures documentation complies with corporate procedures and state Physical Therapy rules. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PTA program, current state license, and strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
