Job Summary
PTA provides high-quality physical therapy services in SNF/LTC/Home Health under a licensed Physical Therapist. Delivers interventions per patient plans, assists with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and use of adaptive equipment. Monitors progress, educates patients and caregivers, documents in EMR, maintains safe environment, collaborates with interdisciplinary team, and ensures compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards. Flexible part-time opportunities and opportunities to work across multiple care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific)
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
