Job Summary
Administer therapeutic interventions focusing on posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, pain management, and daily functional abilities under direct Physical Therapist supervision. Collaborate on treatment plan adjustments, monitor patient progress, and provide timely feedback to the supervising clinician. Deliver patient education on therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies while ensuring approaches align with the patient's age, cultural background, and individual goals. Complete accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge recommendations adhering to regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean environment by following infection control protocols and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care. Requires PTA licensure, BCLS certification, and 0-1 years of experience. PRN flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, modalities, and interventions used in physical therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to legal and regulatory standards
- Physical stamina
- PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant licensed in state of employment
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
