Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Implement resident treatment plans and deliver skilled therapeutic interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional performance under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor and document resident responses, educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and support discharge planning activities. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to HIPAA, infection control, OSHA, and California state practice standards while participating in team meetings and quality assurance initiatives. Assist with patient transfers, mobility support, and emergency evacuations. Requires current, active, unrestricted California PTA license, NPTE completion, and BLS certification.
