Job Summary
Lead residents through prescribed therapy routines, including strengthening and mobility exercises, while assisting with walking programs, transfers, and positioning for safety. Use therapeutic equipment and modalities as directed, document visits clearly, and report patient status changes to reinforce care plans and encourage participation. Partner with a Physical Therapist to carry out rehab programs that help residents improve movement, reduce discomfort, and safely return to daily activities within a team-oriented skilled nursing facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current PTA license
