Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed therapy and participates in the development of the physical therapy program. Performs PT procedures per the plan of care, teaches treatment procedures to clients and families, translates exercises into functional activities, and provides guidance on home modifications and equipment. Maintains records and prepares clinical/progress notes; communicates client progress to the supervising PT.
