Job Summary
Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed physical therapy and participates in the development of the physical therapy program. Documents client visits, teaches treatment procedures to clients and families, translates exercises into activities of daily living, and provides guidance on home modifications and equipment. Maintains records and communications with the supervising therapist regarding progress. Requires an associate degree and a Florida PTA license, CPR, and a valid driver's license; home health experience preferred. Crestview, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Current Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License
- One year PTA work experience
- CPR certification
- Current driver's license and auto insurance coverage
