Job Summary
Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in outpatient ortho/sports settings, including treatment, training, and equipment recommendations; documents patient care and coordinates with the supervising PT; manages scheduling, discharge planning, and follow-up care; participates in interdisciplinary care and patient/family education; seeks ongoing professional development and serves as a clinical instructor as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school
- Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification
