Job Summary
Document patient care activities, ongoing communication, and treatment plan modifications under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Administer modalities, provide interventions, and arrange re-evaluations and discharge summaries while managing an accurate schedule and productivity expectations. Collaborate with team members to complete discharge planning, determine equipment needs, and involve patients and families in education and training. Recognize changes in patient condition and contribute to innovative treatment ideas. Pursue continuing education and serve as a clinical instructor for students as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy
