Job Summary
Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist for a diverse orthopedic outpatient population. Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence while treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and vestibular conditions. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention, then accurately document progress and communicate with the clinical team. Manage a caseload of approximately 10-12 patient visits per day with flexible scheduling opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Arkansas Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification, where applicable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
