Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled technical physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Key responsibilities include assisting in evaluating patient progress, observing and reporting patient conditions, and maintaining documentation of treatments and progress notes. Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and be licensed to practice in their state.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate’s Degree from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Must be licensed in the state in which the assistant will be practicing
