Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at NHC HomeCare Laurens is responsible for providing physical therapy services as directed by the physical therapist. Key duties include assisting the physical therapist with evaluations, observing and reporting patient conditions, and maintaining daily treatment records. Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program and hold a valid state license. An active membership in state and national physical therapy associations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate’s Degree from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Must be licensed in the state in which the assistant will be practicing
