Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Provide physical therapy services under supervision by administering treatment programs, performing manual exercises, and instructing patients in ambulatory and daily-living activities. Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and therapy history reviews while identifying care issues and evaluating abnormal conditions. Document services in patient records, counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, and assist with supportive devices like crutches and prostheses. Maintain compliance with infection-control policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and JACHO standards. Monitor treatment trends against production objectives and update job knowledge through professional organizations and educational opportunities. Pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
