Job Summary
Conduct ongoing interdisciplinary assessments of patients and provide services ordered by physicians in accordance with the plan of care. Act at the direction of the treating physical therapist while participating in the development and evaluation of care plans with patients and caregivers. Document patient progress, treatment responses, and interventions accurately, and counsel families to promote goals toward regaining strength. Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and discharge planning. Access personal health information necessary to fulfill these duties. Requires current Michigan licensure, two years of recent PTA experience, and active CPR certification. Part-time hours paid by visit with flexible assignments, autonomy, and work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Michigan
- Two (2) years of experience as a physical therapist assistant
- Active CPR certification
