Job Summary
Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary patient assessments and provide services ordered by physicians in accordance with the plan of care. Act at the direction of the treating physical therapist while assisting with documentation of progress, response to treatment, and interventions. Counsel patients, families, and caregivers to promote goals, and communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and physicians to coordinate care and discharge planning. Access personal health information necessary to fulfill these duties. Requires current Michigan licensure, two years of PTA experience, and active CPR certification. Part-time hours paid by visit with flexible assignments, autonomy, and work-life balance. Mileage reimbursement and paid training included.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Michigan
- Two (2) years of experience as a physical therapist assistant
- Active CPR certification

- Previous Home Health experience
