Job Summary
Implement individualized treatment plans, assist with patient mobility and exercise programs, document progress in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for safe discharge planning. Participate in team meetings, contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives, and support department goals for excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support recovery, mobility, and functional independence of patients in a hospital setting. Work full-time 40-hour shifts Monday through Friday with rolling start times from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., including one Saturday rotation per month and two to three holidays annually.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Licensed in the state which services are performed
- Weekend rotation - 1 Saturday per month
- 2-3 Holidays required per year
Desired Qualifications
