Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA (Home Health)

Provide direct physical therapy per the Physical Therapist's directions and the physician's plan of care to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance. Direct and assist patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training; utilize physical agents (heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, massage); observe and report patient responses to treatment; instruct patients in care and use of mobility devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic/orthotic devices.
