Job Summary
Join Elara Caring as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will perform direct physical therapy services and ensure quality care in accordance with physician guidelines. Responsibilities include following the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist, instructing patients in the use of assistive devices, and reporting changes in patient status. This role requires an accredited PTA program graduation, an active license, and the ability to travel within the coverage area.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association
- Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws
- Must be able and willing to travel 50%
- Able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
