Job Summary
Implement treatment plans by providing direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications. Monitor and document patient progress while reporting observations to Physical Therapists and educating patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care techniques. Accurately document treatments and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes. This role offers a PRN opportunity in Bay Minette, AL with an hourly rate range of $35-$36/hr and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
