Job Summary
Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT by implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient goals focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes, while educating patients and families on exercises and safety techniques. Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the 13-week contract or permanent placement option in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Requires an active PTA license/certification, current BLS/CPR, and TB test results. Weekly pay includes housing, meal, and travel stipends for travelers.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate physical therapy assistant
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
