Job Summary
Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT by implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient goals in mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient care activities. This role offers competitive pay including hourly rates plus housing and travel stipends, with a 13-week contract option or permanent placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate physical therapy assistant
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
