Job Summary
Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT by implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient goals focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes while educating patients and families on exercises and safety techniques. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities. This role offers a 13-week contract with an option to extend or a permanent placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility, featuring competitive pay including hourly rates plus housing and travel stipends. New grads are welcome to join a supportive team dedicated to patient connection and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate physical therapy assistant
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
