Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative care under licensed physical therapists to residents, assisting with mobility goals through personalized treatment plans and education. Monitor and document patient progress, prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, and educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises. Follow safety and infection control protocols. Requires an Associate degree from an accredited PTA program and current state licensure as a PTA; prior rehab/long-term care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
