Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative care as a Physical Therapist Assistant under licensed PTs in a long-term care setting. Assist in developing and following personalized treatment plans, monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises, prepare and maintain treatment areas/equipment, and follow safety/infection control protocols. Must hold an accredited PTA associate degree and current state licensure/certification; prior rehab or long-term care experience is preferred. Competitive hourly wage of $30-$35 with bi-weekly pay, plus health/dental/vision insurance and paid time off/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
