Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services planned and supervised by a Physical Therapist, including regular conferences on patient progress and treatment plans. Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and securing adaptive devices to enhance rehabilitation. Submit accurate treatment and billing documentation while reporting equipment issues to ensure facility safety. Collaborate with OTs, PTs, and SLPs to support clients transitioning to driving, work, and community activities. Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and attend required staff development and continuing education programs. Deliver 15–20 hours weekly across three days in a home-based neurorehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
- Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
